Mortgages Insurance of Lenders
Mortgage insurance of lenders (LMI) will generally apply if your ratio of loan to value (LVR) is higher than 80%. The LMI values included when applicable in the report calculations are only indicative and are based on a complete loan. The real cost of LMI can vary a lot between lenders and the higher costs can be applied for loans with little investment, investment or self-employed. For low-document loans, LMI can apply if the LVR is greater than 60%. Not all lenders allow LMI to join the loan. Your mortgage loan professional can talk about LMI with you depending on your circumstances.

First subsidy for homeowners
